(Lyrics by Anthony McManus & Warrick Fraser)
I'd like to know
Where you find your prophecy
You'd like to believe
That you've seen the last of me
I'll be the fly
Backstroking in your chardonnay
It's the best excuse
I could think of to stay
Like a thief
Broke and entered my poetry
A female Icarus
Supernova all over me
Under clay and earth
I see you as atmosphere
Can't wash the stain
Of you, i'm never clear
(Never clear, like a thief)
Rodan-chiseled, Marble-stare
Nest of viper's, In your mourning hair
You should charge
For the lesson's you teach
You're just a bitch
Who want's to hold the leash
I threw away
My common sense
I just want you (I need you)
In my present tense
I threw away
My reluctant offense
I just need it all (I need it all)
Need it in my present tense
Threw away
My common sense
I just want you (Just want you)
I want you in my present tense
I threw away
My reluctant offense
I just need it all
Need it in my present tense... present tense

DNA.LIEN began not so much as a band, but more as an ambitious multimedia juggernaut.
Everything from
music production and engineering through to graphic art was completed by the band.
Many solicited and unsolicited demo's were sent to various places locally & abroad.
Ultimately, the first incarnation of DNA.LIEN proved too ambitious.
The members took a break to reflect on the project....more
