lyrics
Depth (Silent Waters)
(Lyrics by Anthony McManus & Warrick Fraser)
Rolling tides moved by someone else's gravity
Washed in the turbulence of dependancy
Union with the Supreme
You don't need to Prey
You don't need to Justify
You just need to Say...
I need the rush
Nothing but the whole rush
Now I'm out of my depth
Everything I believe inept
Shattered at my feet
You're retention on belief
Now it's over my head
(Now it's over my head)
Was it for Love
That Jesus bled?
These rolling tides moved by someone else's gravity
Washed in the turbulence of dependancy
Union with the Supreme
You don't need to Prey
You don't need to Justify
You just need to Say...
You can't confine Infinite
The Mind can't stretch that far
Ascent & Descend are concepts linear
You can't Justify ignorance
If you played are part
You could not judge the Innocent
If you possessed a Heart
I need the rush
Nothing but the whole rush
I need the rush
Nothing but the whole rush
You just need to Say...
(You just need to Say...)
You don't need to Prey
You don't... don't need to Prey
Rolling tides...

DNA.LIEN began not so much as a band, but more as an ambitious multimedia juggernaut.
Everything from
music production and engineering through to graphic art was completed by the band.
Many solicited and unsolicited demo's were sent to various places locally & abroad.
Ultimately, the first incarnation of DNA.LIEN proved too ambitious.
The members took a break to reflect on the project....more
